:: Bournemouth Symphony Chorus stage the first performance of an exciting new work by Paul Carr at Lighthouse on Sunday 9 June.
Awakening is a spiritual choral work based at Stonehenge, setting 16 poems by Stephen Feltham, portraying the cycle of hope experienced by humanity as it progresses through the celestial cycle exhibited by the equinoxes and solstices.
Conducted by Gavin Carr, Bournemouth Symphony Chorus will be joined by Salisbury Musical Society, Bournemouth Symphony Youth Chorus and musicians from Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Sam Furness is the featured tenor.
